Broken Wings, Cracked Wands
The symbols in these paintings reflect intense emotions such as anger, frustration, malice, and fear. They highlight our struggles with empathy, compassion, rationality, and respect. The characters drift away from reality, creating a confused world of their own, which mirrors their sense of alienation from the deception and lies around them. This results in fragmented and distorted images, filled with incomplete characters or scenes that feel disjointed and unclear. Sometimes, you'll see distorted figures resembling leaders guiding others.
Through these works, I aim to capture a witness's perspective on the modern world, where social media floods us with contradictory and trivialized news on serious human issues. There's always someone who believes what they see without questioning the truth. Sometimes, the reality is so harsh that it's difficult to accept.
